Tito Puente and his Orchestra, Conjunto Colores and Amanecer performed at the Mark Hotel in Denver on January 22, 2000. Amanecer opened the dance, followed by Conjunto Colores, and Tito Puente was the headliner closing the show. It was the super-event of my life to share the stage with all these great musicians.

Once again, in 2003 I performed at the KUVO Radio fundraisers at the performance studio with John Akal. Local Latin musicians, Maxine and Company and I recorded the first five CDs produced at the station's recording. During these later years I freelanced with David Amram, New York City Jazz-classical conductor in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Amram played various flutes and fluglehorn, together with pianist Bijuo Balboa on bass, Jill Fredickson on drums and Isidro Aybar on guitar.
