Our mission is to provide religious education and create unity for members of the orisha community.

The Yoruba Temple wishes to benefit both the general community and followers of the Ocha religion. (Lukumi/ Santeria) Information will be shared through historical seminars that will explain the spiritual evolution of our religion. With these educational tools, we can fight discrimination, and dispel negative myths of African based religions, ignorance and fear.

In addition, our purpose is to provide a website and meeting place, where the Oloshas of Texas and surrounding states can exchange ideas, reunite and undertake activities of common interest.

Our Goals are:

• To educate and unite our members, while informing and educating government agencies and the general public about our religion.
• To offer instructive workshops and seminars with guest speakers represented nationwide and from various countries, whose area of expertise will discuss different aspects of our religion.
• To organize programs to feed and help homeless people.
• To provide emergency assistance to victims of domestic violence.
